COMET PROTOCOL

Docs

How Comet works today on Robinhood Chain — swaps, pools, liquidity, locks, and supported routing.

NETWORK

Robinhood Chain

The production interface is configured for Robinhood Chain Mainnet, chain ID 4663.

NON-CUSTODIAL

Your wallet stays yours

Comet is a frontend for interacting with blockchain contracts. It does not ask for private keys or seed phrases. Connect with a browser extension wallet or WalletConnect (for mobile wallets like Trust Wallet or the Robinhood Wallet app) — both sign transactions in your own wallet, never Comet.

Protocol
01 / SWAP

Direct route comparison

The current frontend checks supported direct Comet pools and direct Uniswap v3 single-hop liquidity on Robinhood Chain. It selects the supported direct quote available to the interface and sends the transaction to that venue.

This is not a claim that Comet aggregates every DEX, every pool, or every possible multi-hop route on Robinhood Chain.

02 / POOLS

Permissionless pools

Anyone can create a Comet pool for a token pair and fee tier within the Factory's fee bounds. Different fee tiers can create separate pools for the same token pair.

The Factory creates the Pair contract automatically. Users do not need to deploy a Pair contract themselves.

03 / FEES

Pool fee economics

MIN

PRESETS

MAX
10%

The protocol share is 5% of the trading fee, not 5% of swap volume. The remaining 95% stays within LP economics.

Example: a $1,000 swap through a 1% pool creates a $10 trading fee: $9.50 LP economics + $0.50 protocol share.

Trading fees are not guaranteed returns. Pool activity, token prices, liquidity, and market conditions can change.

04 / LIQUIDITY

Positions

Comet Pairs issue an embedded ERC-20 liquidity token called cLP. Liquidity can normally be added or removed through the Router. Ordinary liquidity is not locked unless the LP owner separately chooses to use the LP Locker.

05 / LOCKS

LP Lock & Token Lock

LP Lock holds cLP until its recorded unlock time. Token Lock holds an ERC-20 token until its recorded unlock time. Both are optional and their records are stored on-chain.

A lock only describes the locked asset and its lock conditions. It is not a security audit, project endorsement, or guarantee of price, solvency, or future behavior.

06 / PRODUCTION CONTRACTS

Mainnet addresses

These are the Comet contracts currently configured by the production frontend. Always check the destination shown by your wallet before signing.

07 / EXTERNAL LIQUIDITY

Uniswap v3 support

The frontend currently supports direct Uniswap v3 single-hop quotes and execution on Robinhood Chain. Uniswap is an independent external protocol; Comet does not control it.

External venue support can change as contracts, liquidity, or frontend integrations change.

08 / RISKS

Before you sign

Check the token addresses, amount, approvals, pool fee, slippage, route, and lock duration before confirming a transaction. Blockchain transactions can be irreversible.

Trading and liquidity can involve smart-contract risk, market risk, price impact, slippage, impermanent loss, liquidity risk, network issues, and third-party infrastructure risk.

09 / TRANSPARENCY

What Comet does not promise

Publishing contract addresses or source code does not mean the contracts are independently audited. Listing an asset or lock does not mean Comet endorses the asset or project. The current interface also does not promise universal DEX aggregation or guaranteed returns.
